Swimmers Compete at the Coventry Commonwealth Games

This past Saturday and Sunday FUAC traveled to the Coventry Commonwealth Games in Waynesboro. Laura Neelley took on the 1500 late Sunday afternoon, setting a new FUAC team record, while Michelle Caron and Jordan Benson continued to drop time in multiple events. Three of the biggest swims of the meet for FUAC came from Katie Wilson who swam best times in the 50 free, 50 fly and 100 breast. All three swims eclipsed her converted yard times from the short course season. Rounding out the womens side was Rachel Yellets who competed strong in the 50 free and 100 back.

On the mens side Jeremy Gencavage and Josh Brown, both cadets at Fork Union Military Academy, swam well in the 50 free, 50 fly, 100 Breast and 100 Back. Jeremy registered a top eight finish in the 100 back, and both men set new FUAC team records.
